Just back from a weekend at the Ocean Sands. Lovely hotel. Food excellent. Friendly helpful staff. Although this hotel was more expensive than the 4 star down the road we think its actually better. We ate in both hotels and the ocean sands was the best. Lovely room. Lovely beach at the back door. 15 mins drive to Ballina -... More

Stayed at the end of the Easter week in an apartment this time, easier with kids, spacious, clean & fully equipped. Beach & playground just outside our door. Ate in the bar on the first night, felt the early bird menu has gotten smaller since the last time, but food was very good all the same. Hope to return later... More

Arrived at the hotel on Easter Sunday and was given a beautiful large family room with a seaview. We had lunch in the bar which was beautiful with great service. The hotel had a kids indoor centre on the bottom floor that was supervised at certain times ( 5pm - 9pm approx ). I asked at reception for directions and... More

We stayed here with our family who are aged 9, 3 and 22months. Everything was better than we could have asked for. Our room was huge. We had two double beds a sofa bed and they provided us with a cot for the baby. We also had the most spectacular views of the beach. There is a childrens play area... More

WE stayed here for a weekend. It was one of the few places, which advertise 'Pet Friendly' and really are Pet Friendly! Besides this wonderful 'plus', their staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. It is a very well run hotel which we would have no problem reccomending to anyone! More
