Had a wonderful break last week - warm reception, tasty food, accommodation relaxing & spacious overlooking the magnificent gardens. Have stayed on numerous occassions in the past with my familyand I still find that warm traditional welcome is still to be found in this family owned hotel. Wishing the Moylett family and their staff continued success.

Had my wedding on 5th May 2012 was a fantastic day the food was so tasty, the grounds are fabulous for photos and the staff and managment looked after us very well. the vaule for our wedding package was excellent. I would 100% recommend the Downhill House Hotle for a wedding!!!

Stayed here recently and found the hotel to be very agreeable.The bedroom and en-suite was spotless, nicely decorated and bright&airy.Internet access was a little slow but serviceable.
The bar area was very quiet when visited but still exuded a lovely athmosphere, pity then to waste excellent workmanship on the bar counter which needed a refinishing job.
