We arrived in Ballina, birth town of my father so much excitement. We found the Ballina Manor, great location right on the Moy river and our room looked great (7/10). After booking in we found a great little Italian restuarant (Poreinis) and wandered through the parts of Ballina I could remember. Back to the Hotel for a night cap before... More

Was a bit concerned prior to arriving at the hotel as I was wary of the hotel still warming up for the new season. No need for concern. We recieved a great warm welcome, and nothing was a problem for the very attentive staff. Only negative was the gym/spa was still being upgraded therefore not available to us. Food top... More

great staff, beds are sooo comfortable, lack of choice on menus is only let down, well apart from anyoutside seating area, but would definately stay again, very reasonable and ideal for a weekend break away, More

This hotel is well situated in the hear of Ballina. It is a bit worn around the edges and the service is less than spectacular. Overall, just an average place. There are much nicer places to stay for the price if you have a car and can get around on your own. More

Just back from a great stay last night. The hotel is in a beautiful location down on the river and right beside the main street. It is a modern hotel but has real charm. Our bedroom was perfect, restaurant was stunning overlooking the river and the bar was just too cosy - hence the fact I didn't leave it until... More

My partner and I stayed here for a long weekend, and were quite disappointed by a few things: the swimming pool was freezing cold, no chance to swim in that water; the pub was surprisingly closed during Ireland's Six Nations match; the wireless connection was in general very week, and non-existent in our bedroom. However, the personell was very nice... More
