We came to a family wedding here. By irish standards it is a great wedding venue - could be a little bit better up kept - but for Irish standards it was "grand". There is a large old main house and then about 12 adjoining large cottages for families and friends. Food was amazing and the house was great. The... More

This intimate country house helped make the wedding special. It was like staying in a family home, a family with lots of history and memorabilia. John his staff were super, absolutely ready to assist in any way to make our stay comfortable. The breakfasts were very good, the scones wonderful, and the wedding meal and the barbecue the next day... More

Stayed as a guest for a friends wedding and found it to be one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. Rooms were very large, comfortable and clean. Staff just couldn't do enough for you. Even though there was over 100 people to look after every request was taken care of immediately and with a smile. The house... More

We had our wedding here last month, and I'm struggling to find words to describe it - none of the words I'm coming up with are good enough! The venue is just fabulous - it really gave the whole day a great relaxed atmosphere. We've seen some of the photos from the wedding already, and the venue really makes them... More

I attended a family wedding at Ballintaggart on 6/7th August.. It was truly amazing. John and his wonderful staff could not do more for us. The smallest of detail is taken care of with a smile and warmth that is second to none. It is also a wonderful place to stay, so whether it is a wedding, or just a... More

Had the pleasure of attending a family wedding here and was very impressed by John, the owner/manager, and his wonderful team who did everything to make this a very enjoyable day. As an added bonus the food served during the champagne reception and during the main meal was superb. In addition to the main house there is self catering accommodation... More

We hosted our wedding at the Ballintaggart House. The attention to detail, love and generosity shown to us by John and his staff was immeasurable. They took care of all of our guests like their own family, helped with every small question and made us all feel so welcome. The food at the wedding was mind blowing-- our local Kerry... More

This was one of our favourite stays in Ireland last Summer. The house and its views are simply stunning....a different world. But the best was the hospitality from the owner John, the incredible breakfast and the comfy bed. We had a great time in Dingle and this is one place we will return to. We had a good look around... We had our wedding here in December 2009. From the first meeting right through to completion absolutely everything was looked after effortlessly and with complete professionalism by the staff. Absolutely nothing was a problem for them. The hotel itself is a genuine gem and in a spectacular location. Accommodation was excellent with some rooms in the hotel and more in... More
