My parents and I had only planned to be in Kenmare for 1 night. We called Noreen in the late afternoon and she had a room for us that night. But due to some car trouble, we wound up staying 3 nights! Noreen was so kind and helpful. We weren't sure, day to day, if we would need to stay... More

The Watersedge is a nice guesthouse just across the bridge from Kenmare. The rooms are spacoius and clean, the beds are confortable, the rooms could use some additional seating to relax. The view from our room was a great view of the bay. The town square was just a short drive across the bridge. The square was probably normally within... More

Our family stayed at the Watersedge b&b for two nights in September 2011. I cannot say enough good things about this b&b and the hostess, Noreen. We had rooms 3 & 4 and both were very large, nicely decorated, and extremely clean. The bathrooms were very well laid out and extremly clean as well. The view of the lake from... More

I recently stayed at this B&B with my wife for one night. We enjoyed our stay here although it was brief. Our room (#4) was very nice and spacious. We had a twin bed. Bathroom was big and clean. Our breakfast was excellent. We both had the smoked salmon, eggs, & toast. The B&B is located just outside of town.... More

Our family stayed at The Watersedge B&B in June of 2011, and had a wonderful time there. We were greeted when we drove up by Gypsi, their friendly family dog (which we all loved!) We found the two rooms we stayed in spacious, clean and very inviting, with a TV/DVD in each room, lots of DVDs in the lobby, and... More

There were a lot of things that we liked about Watersedge. The house is very nice, with a lovely little sitting area outside overlooking the water. Our hostess (never saw our host) was very friendly, and breakfast was, if not stellar, perfectly acceptable. The B&B is a bit of a walk outside of Kenmare, but we didn't mind it, particularly... The room was okay but most importantly clean. We arrived late in the afternoon. When I started taking a shower the water pressure was, for lack of a better word, horrible. At one point in the shower, the water just stopped. I stood there for about 5 minutes before it began working again. I am not sure if this is... More

This place is located just south of the town. First right turn after the bridge in a very quiet and pleasant neighbourhood and close to the water. A short walk takes you to the main area of the town where the shops and restaurents are located. Noreen, the owner keeps the front door of the house unlocked. The room rate... More

Was down in Kenmare for new years attending a wedding in Sheen Falls Hotes. As watersedge was close by we stayed there. The house was lovely, large rooms, everything we needed to get ready for the occasion e.g. hairdryer, iron, hot tea and bicks. Noreen was so nice, she booked hairdressers and tanning studios for the ladies. She drove us... More

My wife and I spent 2 nights at Watersedge guesthouse in Kenmare on a short break. We found everything as descibed and we were particularly happy with the breakfast as I had my ` full English` and my wife loved the smoked salmon. Also the room was nice and large, with a good selection of dvd`s. More
