Lovely old style hotel in Listowel. Friendly helpful staff. Rooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean but could do with some updating. Pub grub was good and meal in restaurant another night was lovely. Restaurant well positioned overlooking river and racecourse. Breakfasts very tasty and service very good. Recommend a visit !

I stayed here on a recent business trip to the county, I ate in the bar and had a really good mixed grill, and the breakfast was also fine. The hotel is fairly old but has all the necessary in-room conveniences, so as I say in the title it's okay for a short stay.

I attended a wedding here recently and everything from the friendly welcome to the food was just top class. A family group with 3 lively kids went for dinner one evening in late April. Staff could not have been better with kids and very friendly when serving us. Everyone enjoyed their meal which is served in lovely restaurant overlooking Listowel Racecourse and River Feale.
