My wife has reviewed this already as excellent and it was!! We stayed friday 10/05/13 and saturday 11/05/13 The sub-title to the B&Bs name is - Little Hope - its called that because there is little hope of any other B&BS being of such good quality or of having such great hosts as Evelyn & Mike!! The place is fantastic.... More

We have just had a weekend away at this lovely B & B and it was outstanding. Evelyn and Mike are very warm and welcoming hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. Beautiful room and a good and hearty breakfast, we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and would not hesitate to recommend it.

5 of us stayed here last night as we had a family wedding at the village hall. This was one of the nicest and friendliest B & B's we have ever been too - in fact, it knocked the spots off some 4* hotels that we have experienced. The owners were very welcoming, the rooms clean and modern and the... More

If you are looking great hospitality, exceptional levels of comfort, a great nights sleep and a wonderful breakfast at an affordable cost then get along to Long Mountain. I offer an unreserved recommendation and that's a first for me. Well done Evelyn and Mike.

Long Mountain was set in the most idyllic location and it was a treat to wake up to such a view. Waking up however was tough as the bed was so comfy-usually I crave my own bed but on this occasion I was loathed to leave. Mike & Evelyn our hosts were wonderful and could not have been more accommodating.... More

Stayed here on business with a colleague for one night. Wonderful service even before I arrived. Warm greeting from our hosts, delightful views if you have time for walking and a hearty, delicious home cooked breakfast! My colleague commented that it would be a great place for a young family due to the proximity of rooms and location.

This really was one of the most attractive bed and breakfast locations I have had chance to visit, the hospitality was second to none and the location looking across the valley to Powys castle is idyllic! It's clear the owners have gone to great lengths to make their bedrooms and indeed the lounge very comfortableand attractive and whilst the accommodation... More

I stopped at Long Mountain at the end of the first leg of a cycling trip through Wales. The room I stayed in was large and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was excellent and the large garage facility provided ample space for my bike to be kept securely overnight. A pub within short walking distance provides good solid pub food.... More

This is, without a doubt, the best bed and breakfast we have stayed in. To say the rooms are of a high standard is an understatement. We had a king size bed which gave us both two great nights sleep and the bathroom is georgous with a huge bath with very powerful shower over. The hosts Evelyn and Mike really... More
