Set in some lovely, and well tendered gardens, we had a relaxing stay in this beautiful period hotel. Friendly owners, lovely room, and lovingly cooked breakfast. We'd definitely stay here again. We paid £90 for their 'suite' which was large and light. King sized bed with sitting area, lovely period furniture, and 'homely'. Excellent value, and happy to reccommend.

Chintzy, peaceful comfort in well situated cottages with off street parking and a warm welcome from owners Sue and Barry. A lovely breakfast and situated within walking distance of Ripon town centre and lots of yummy local eateries. Almost makes working away from home a pleasure.

Stayed at Box Tree for one night only. Comfortable, picturesque, parking, friendly owners, classic cottage feel but well-equipped, great breakfast, top value. Couldn't fault Box Tree in any way and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Ripon/N. Yorkshire. I hope to be back.

We had a delightful night at Box Tree with excellent hosts Barbara & Bill. They pointed us in the right direction for a good evening meal & made sure we didn't miss the 'Ripon Hornblower' experience - a must. Excellent accommodation and hospitality. Stayed 1 night on way to Scotland. So good, booked for return the week after for the return trip. Breakfast was freshly cooked with a wide choice of juices, cereals etc
