This is a great hotel to use as a base to discover Northern Ireland. Comfortable clean rooms, friendly staff and the food in the bistro is fantastic! Going back again this year. More

One Saturday we decided to take a trip to Portstewart and at about 7.30pm we decided to go to Cromore Halt for a meal. Big mistake, The only good thing about it was the parking. Inside it looked more like a cafe, no atmosphere. We were given menu which was adequate but not impressive and when we had choosen what... More

Had a meal with friends in the resturant on a Saturday night in November. The resturant is on the outskirts of the town, so very convienent, with adequate parking. Welcome was very friendly and helpful. The food was well presented and very good with a good choice to suit most tastes. Facilities were clean and tidy. This is a well run... More

What a pity we could only stay one night for B & B. The quality of this hotel is such that a longer stay would have been much enjoyed. Our overall impression is that this hotel is trying so hard to achieve high standards, that they deserve to suceed, and we believe they are doing so. The quality of service (always... More

Booked this hotel on the back of TA reviews and we were not disappointed. Unfortunately we were only staying one night. The welcome by the receptionist was fantastic; she could train receptionists in a lot of the hotels I have stayed in over the world as we were made very welcome. She gave us good information and direction. This 'here... More

After a busy summer my husband and I decided to treat the kids to one last wee weekend away before the winter set in! All I can say is we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Cromore - the staff were so obliging nothing was too much trouble, anything we asked for we got! We ate in the Bistro the first... More

Took my family to Cromore Halt, in the hope for some quiet family time, on entering the guest inn we were greeted by a friendly reception However, when entering the room it was still being cleaned and we had to wait in lounge- quite unacceptable as we werent there till 3.30 pm. The room itself is clean and bright, good... More

Called in for a meal here on the 22/08/2011 at their Bristo and the food and service was very good. My wife paid the bill and I never checked it over until I got home. I was a little dissapointed to find out that we were over charged for the 2 main meals. It may be only a pound or... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about our Bistro. It was nice to hear that the food and the service you received were good. Reading on through your review I can see that you felt you were overcharged on two meals on this occasion. We introduced a small price increase on four main dishes on our... More
