Happened upon the Strand House on our GPS and what a find! Ernestine welcomed us, went way out of way to make sure we had all our needs. House is wonderfully decorated and an incredible view.

We stayed 2 nights over a wet and wild Easter weekend - Strand House was the highlight of our trip to Northern Ireland (alongside the stunning scenery). The breakfast was amazing and our hosts Ernestine and Tom were so warm and welcoming. Delightful.

We stayed at the Strand over Easter and had a thoroughly lovely time. Whilst the weather was terrible, our hosts were anything but. They could not have been more welcoming or hospitable. The room was excellent, with a great jacuzzi bath and the breakfast well worth getting up for!!

After reading the reviews we chose to stay at Strand house for a short weekend break. We were not disappointed. The room was comfortable with a great on-suite bathroom, the Irish breakfast I had was very tasty and the hosts were warm and friendly. Its a great setup and its obvious the hosts enjoy what they do. Really enjoyed our stay. Large clean and luxurious rooms and a superb breakfast along with some great friendly service. Would travel for the breakfast alone.
