we have stayed in the cottage many times now as we find it both affordable and, more importantly, very hospitable. our work takes us to northern ireland every month and quite honestly we would not stay anywhere else. This was our first visit to this area and we couldn't have been more fortunate than to discover "The Cottage". Our room was pleasant, clean and comfortable. Getting accommodation in Portadown is getting increasingly more difficult. At least two of the b&bs on trip advisor are no longer trading - Cherryville, Birches Guest Lodge. This leaves just the hotels which charge ridiculous prices for poor reviews on trip advisor. In need of somewhere reasonably priced, we discovered The Cottage which sadly had no reviews on Trip Advisor.... More
