What a find - eclectic without being odd. Different without trying to be!! Homely yet the feel of privacy if you want that. The hosts are terrific and the rooms are delightful and clean. All you would want from a place to stay. Breakfast was great - stay there !! You wont be disappointed!!!

Wonderful B&B with great history. We stayed in the Eisenhower Suite. They name all of the rooms after US presidents. Our travel companions were in the Clinton Suite. Tim said that they had to change one room name because no one wanted to stay in it - the Nixon Suite. Too funny. Tim and Ethy were wonderful hosts. Everything you... More

Conveniently located on the A2 it is a quiet location with a great view over the sea. Owners gave us a very warm welcome and instantly felt at home. Rooms were spacious and beds very comfy. After... Woooh~~ It's what I said when I turned to see the beautiful mansion in Newtown Abbey, just a few minutes driving from Belfast. Abbeydene locates in a quiet street and you could really throw all trouble minds away here. The 2-storey house is in very good condition and is well-equipped. In the house, you will find lots of DVDs because... More

This is a house with real character and the hosts are real characters too! They really go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The breakfasts are legendary and the view of the lough lovely. You can be close enough to Belfast (1 minutes drive)and also enjoy the refreshment of the seaside air.

I was in the Newtownabbey area for work and this was the most conveniently located B&B. When I saw the website I was amazed that such beautiful unique accommodation should be labelled a B&B and not a boutique hotel. This Victorian villa is set high above the shoreline of Belfast Lough and has the views to prove it, it is... More

Work colleagues had highly recommended Abbeydene Manor as a stop over when attending courses in the University of Ulster to save a long drive up and down to Belfast from the 'west'! They said it was amazing and I definately wasn't disappointed. Tim was very welcoming and it didn't bother me that I didn't have an ensuite as the bathroom... More
