A good place to stay in most respects - comfort, location, most services, but in the dark ages as far as wifi goes. It costs £10 per day, which is excessive considering it was the only hotel/guest house or B&B that charged for wifi access in the 5 weeks I was travelling through UK and Ireland.

With a Shearings coach party group of 25, 2 of the 3 nights we stayed our sleep was disturbed by noisy wedding guests including children until well into the early hours. The rooms were very good, the food was ok.

We went yet again to the fab carvery. Everything was top class. Value for money in these hard times has to be promoted. Food and service was first class.
