My wedding night was ruined by staying here. Music on until 12 right under the bridal suit. Music was so loud it shook the walls. When I asked for it to be turned down I was brushed off twice. The manager was incredibly rude. The next day the manageress was even worse. She was rude, obnoxious, and very unhelpful. Breakfast... More

Stayed here for a weekend. The room was very clean, with ensuite and located right in the middle of town. Breakfast was adequate, nothing to write home about. However, the walls are paper thin - we actually had another guest come to our door to ask us to turn our tv down & a sign in the bathroom asks you... More

Ups: Location wise the hotel is spot on. Check in was quick, courteous and efficient. The room was reasonably spacious, with a bath and shower. Evening service was excellent and difficult to fault. The tied beers were very nice. Downs: Round the toilet is a little cramped, and I had some trouble getting the shower to the right temperature. Morning... More

The location cannot be faulted, but then you have the road noise to accommodate. The room was tired and very dated, the only update was the small television. The carpeted bathroom was cramped and the shower of the bath taps was difficult to regulate. The single bed was ancient the mattress very soft. The restaurant was closed

We arrived at the hotel to find there were no spare car parking spaces until the grumpy owner told us we were not guaranteed a space as there were only 10 spaces for 15 rooms whereas all their literature states 16 spaces for 15 rooms(we did eventually get a space). The hotel is nice enough and some of the staff were... Firstly they didn't have my booking, but then they found it... Very dated accommodation, could do with refurbishment or at least a good clean and a lick of paint. It was a Saturday night so the live band were playing, and our room was at the front of the hotel so the smokers and revellers added to the noise, it... More

Nothing particularly wrong with the hotel and the staff are extremely pleasant but what they don't tell you when booking is that Saturday night is live music night and you don't have a hope in hell of getting any sleep. Music does go off around midnight but then as the hotel is situated on the main road late night revellers... More
