This is a great hotel for a good nights stay, the rooms are big and comfortable and Nicky at reception is so friendly and helpful, you really feel like a valued and welcome customer. Great countryside views from the bar too with a nice outdoor seating area. More

If you are looking for a luxurious hotel with all the trappings then this is NOT it! What it is however is an extremely pleasant and comfortable place to stay staffed by a youthful but very helpful and obliging staff which offers value for money. As has been stated elsewhere this is best compared to a top end Premier Inn... More

I arrived at the County Arms after the restaurant had closed. The very friendly welcome was made all the better by the offer for the off duty chef to make me a sandwich. This was a great touch and really welcome indeed. The rooms are modern and very clean, with a very comfortable bed. All in all, a really great... More

This is a fantastic place to stay. It has been newly renovated and the rooms are spacious and comfortable with modern bathrooms and excellent facilities. Loads of hanging space and lovely views. Sunny terrace. The breakfast was excellent value and the hotel is immaculate. The pub lacks a little ambiance but it more than makes up for it in the... More

A party of us stayed for a couple of nights for a wedding. It's on a quite busy route into Truro so there's a bit of traffic noise but nothing drastic. The rooms were very high quality and immaculately clean. Food was very nice, you could have full cooked breakfast or continental. Staff were friendly and attentive. The prices were... More

This place was chosen for an overnight visit, and was fine for that. I'd quite happily stay here for a mini-break too. The price was very reasonable when I visited (below Premier Inn prices), but I see it is now more expensive than the price I paid. Much as I enjoyed it, I wouldn't pay much more than I would... More

Have just stayed in the County Arms for the 2nd time in 6 months. It's a lovely hotel, very fresh, clean and well appointed rooms. The staff are all very helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Truro is also well located for travelling to the more scenic tourist areas. Breakfast is OK, all cooked fresh to order... At just over £40 per night for a double room this was excellent value for money. The rooms still have a new feel to them and are larger than you would expect in a budget hotel. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant, which gets busy, was pretty standard grill fare. My wife had the special... More

Stayed here from 2 - 6 March with 2 other couples. Standard Double Room was clean and had everything you would need. Bed very comfortable - quite soft. Shower was great. Power shower, nice big cubicle and no fiddling about trying to work out how it works.Nice modern decor. Bar and restaurant very popular. Nice food, but we did feel... More

We stayed in a double standard room in the County Arms and found the standard of accomodation to be excellent for the price. All fairly new, comfortable beds and very clean. Only a shower in the standard room but again a very high standard of cleanliness.Reception extremely helpful and efficient. Would definitely stay again. More
