It''s a real treat to go to the Harp. The family who run it are charming, the pub is cosy, especially with the open fire and a wonderful view. But the main thing is the food. Well it's fresh, interesting and well just very good. Herefordshire is a county with few restaurants and few really good places to eat. I'm... More

This pub has been well described in other reviews. We come here regularly as we live not too far away and we love the drive and the whole experience of this character pub with very nice and attentive owners and the excellent food. Often we are lucky and can sit near the fire with a good pint and some lovely... More

I can't believe this pub hasn't got more recent reviews. Four of us stayed on Saturday night and enjoyed it very much. We had visited the pub for a drink three years ago and promised ourselves a return visit to stay. The owners (who have been there for 18 months) are friendly and helpful; the service is very good with... More

We arrived at the Harp quite late, just in time for our evening meal. Our first impressions were very favourable - we like a pub that looks like a pub, not some fancy gastro experience or posh hotel, and this ticked the boxes: cottage-style interior, a log fire, old furniture and settles, and good beer on the bar. We were... More

This Inn serves the best sunday lunch you can eat after a long walk in the country. It has retained its cosiness with its open log fire. From the minute you walk through the small front door you are made welcome. The beef is cooked to pink perfection and home made odd shaped yorkshire puddings are washed down with a nice... More

What a lovely setting for supper on a summer evening! We only had the one course. I had sole with cous cous - excellent. My partner had mezze which was adequate but not really value for money. First class service and great atmosphere. Did not stay so cannot comment on accommodation. More

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived - the pub looked very wecloming from outside and continued inside. The selection of food, beers ciders and wines was excellent and the food did not dissapoint. Some of us went for the chef's 3 course experimental dinner which was exceptionally good - we felt like judges on Master Chef! The rooms were... More

The Harp is a Lovely B&B and Pub, the owners Chris and Angela and all of the staff there are very hospitable and make you feel at home. The food is practically fine dining as the chef is award winning, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the building overall has a wonderful history and breath taking views over the Welsh... More

We stayed here just for two nights and thought the owners Chris and Angela were very friendly, also a lovely lady that helped at breakfast. The breakfast was good quality..proper bacon and sausage from a local butcher and crusty bread which makes a change from the horrible cheap sliced brea we have experienced before. Would recommend a visit especially if... More

Came here twice for dinner. Very friendly bar , good food, service attentive but inexperienced. Old Radnor is a marvellous location with wonderful views. Recommended. More
