We utterly enjoyed our stay at this charming B&B on Lake Bala. Our room (Aran) was beautifully furnished and very cosy, with an en-suite with a whirlpool. You could see a little stream outside the bathroom window, which added that special touch. Breakfast was done very well to our order and satisfaction. More

Had a great stay with Lindsey and Ray at Abercelyn Country House. We stayed in the Aran room with a lovely big bed, really comfy, and a whirl pool bath! We also had a lovely breakfast each morning with fresh eggs laid by their own hens. A really nice escape away, coupled with some fun white water rafting! We'll be... More

Abercelyn was the perfect place to stay for 4 nights in early September 2011 while my partner was at a violin music camp near Conwy. Lindsay and Ray were very nice, with delicious breakfasts from Lindsay and advice/ maps from Ray on where to hike in the Snowdonia region. I was most impressed with everything! We are now back in... We had a warm greeting from Mrs. Hind who gave us a tour and dropped off a couple of delicious lemon cakes. The cottages were very cosy and both had whirlpool baths &... More

This was our fourth stay in the Tithe Barns! Abercelyn offers excellent clean quality accomadation in Bala, which is a good base for exploring North Wales. This is ideal accomadation if your a walker, mountain biker or kayaker! It benefits from an easy booking procedure and has probably the best website I've come across! More

I've stayed a few times at Abercelyn and been on guided walks with Ray one of the owners, he knows the area like the back of his hand, and is able to lead walking guests of any ability who wish a trip out onto the hills in complete safety. I agree with the positive comments and add that the library... More
