On arrival at the Hotel we found it quite hard to park as its limited space and there were only 3 cars which managed to fill the parking. On entering the Hotel it was like a ghost town! Eventually the cleaner popped his head round the toiler door and asked us if we had been seen to! 5 minutes later... More

This hotel is in a beautiful location and provides a warm and personal welcome. I was visiting for a business meeting and the facilities were perfect for a small meeting ~10 people. The lounge where we had coffee was very in-keeping with the building and there were amazing pieces of art everywhere. The paintings were unique and apparently produced by... More

Wife and I just celebrated our 'Ruby' by taking dinner and a room at this hotel. Food was up to Michelin standard, as was service. Staff were thoroughly pleasant and rooms exceptional in an 'Old Country House Hotel' style. Expensive, but as with most things in life, you get what you pay for. This is the kind of place where... Took my wife here for a Birthday Treat and It exceeded our expectations. Location, Rooms, Food, and Service were all excellent. The staff went the extra mile to make our stay special, and gave us tips of local places to visit during our stay.As a Reiais & Chateaux Hotel, what you pay for your stay reflects the experience and is worth... A Relais & Chateaux Country House Hotel. Ynyshir Hall means Long Island. We were on a press trip and this stop was to see the gardens but I think so worth including a review of as it would be such a beautiful place to stay in. After our welcome by Joan Reen, we were ushered into the parlor for some... More

We had an idyllic weekend, we enjoyed the food and style of the hotel with its huge benefit of only 9 rooms. This means the atmosphere is intimate and friendly. The hotel is centred on its food and it is wonderful cooking, I agree about the choices, which are a bit limited. I could I'm sure have asked for a... More

A nice property as such, in a scenic location. However, the management by the owner is very "special": cheap foreign staff with limited English, stained carpets, stains in the bathroom. Drinks and wine are hugely expensive (GBP 17 for a glass of Champagne). The owner/manager very much likes to be the centre of attention and complain about other guests who... More

We had lunch here. Its an elegant and charming place, tucked away from the main road. Very high standard of food, though the options were a bit limited. Personable staff. Am unsure about the michelin star though. More

My wife and I stayed at the hotel last week in August The location is wonderful and the food fab I would say they need to install wi fi and internet connection as I am sure I was not the only visitor needing to stay in touch Having said that it was a wonderful and restful experience and the food...
