We had a terrific two night stay and from the moment we arrived until we left were made to feel very welcome. I would like to have given them five stars but have not done so for some very minor 'misses'. Dead light bulbs in our room and bathroom, tepid bathroom radiator, curtains which did not keep out the light....

We had a wonderful stay at this unique small hotel on the edge of Exmoor. A good location for visiting the north Devon coast and exploring the Moor. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable and the food outstanding. The perfect place to chill out and recharge the batteries! We will be back.

Paul and Jan provided the most wonderful accommodations and dining for us. Due to the remote location we chose to have both breakfast and dinner at the Heasely House and it did not disappoint, Paul's cooking was fabulous and the selection of wines was impressive. Heasley Mill is a remote combe in Exmoor Nat park in SW England, it is...

We had a great Easter break at Heasley House. Our room was light and bright and spacious. The bed and the bed linen was so comfortable. The food - breakfast and dinner - excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance of the House, from chilling in the bar to reading by the roaring log fire in the living room. Thank you...

Food, accomodation and reception/bar rooms flawless. But what really sets Heasley House apart is the style and attention to detail of the owners, Paul and Jan. Paul's cooking is Cordon Bleu standard and Jan does whatever else is needed - but they are clearly always working easily and harmoniously together! They are the perfect team with their warm, good natured...

Paul and Maria and our dog Benson returned to Heasley House for our 3rd visit in June 2011 and we were not disappointed. We were greeted with the warmest of welcomes and as usual the room was immaculate, the large bed and linens so comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble for Paul and Jan who go the extra mile to...

Tucked away in a sleepy little Devon village this hotel is a gem. Paul and Jan provide the warmest of welcomes and their cooking and hospitality keep drawing us back for more visits. On this stay we heard the local brass band play at the village fete and joined in with everyone enjoying themselves, despite the damp evening.
Numerous gardens...

A decent size of freshly squeezed orange juice with your breakfast, cake with your pot of tea after a day out, homemade bread....
All of these extras plus more made our stay at Heasley a home from home.
