CP exceeded our expectations. Very comfortable, good value, good service. Efficiency was 100%, they arranged our taxi pickup to and from Geneva airport. Location-wise in a quiet location up a hill; easily walkable to the town centre (downhill) but never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a bus. At night the walk is about 15 minutes uphill, but... If you are looking for a nice place to stay in Portes du Soleil, Le Chalet Philibert in Morzine should be your choice! Rooms are clean and very nicely decorated in typical chalet style. After a long day of skiing you can enjoy the sauna and the jacuzzi, an excellent way to relax your muscles. If you are lucky enough... More

Thanks to Serge and his team for a fantastic family holiday. The relaxed atmosphere is very family friendly. The food is of a very high standard along with the quality and extensive wine list.. Relax in the pool and hottub, sauna after a hard day on the slopes and then pre dinner drinks by the log fire... Ideally situated to... More

If carlsberg did Alpine chalet hotels that were affordable the Chalet Philiibert would be top of their list. Having discovered the chalet by luck a few years ago, we have returned every year since, I can categorically say that value for money and simple Alpine quaintness is all anyone would want at the end of a hard day up the... We were placed in the " little Philibert". Very simple rooms,no decorations and no place to sit except on your bed, the chalet is copletely in wood but the floors in the room are very cheap as it is a laminate floor, feels ver plastic !!! . Very sml bathroom, nothing to hang your towels, wires sticking out of the... More

We stayed for 5 nights skiing. The rooms were comfortable. The food was far better than expected. Staff could not have been more helpful - for example on our first day when collecting our skis they kindly drove to the village during the day and collected our shoes to bring back to the hotel for us. Free wifi. You need... More

We ended up booking up for a skiing holiday at short notice and were offered a free upgrade to a junior suite in this hotel. We had asked if we could not do half board as we've had bad experiences with this before, but this wasn't an option. We were assured that there were 2 really good restaurants in the... More

I only stayed here for 2 nights but had a great time, the snow was poor but having a hotel with a jacuzzi and sauna meant we could stop skiing early , drink some vino and go back and have a soak. Beds were comfy, linen good quality, shower rooms effective, free wifi meant I could get my newspaper in... More

Overall a lovely place, we stayed for 4 nights on our honeymoon. Maybe we were a bit disapointed to be staying in the little chalet next door, but the room was lovely - a bit small but we were skiing all day so it didn't really matter. We seemed to have the place to ourselves apart from one night when... More

We just traveled from Florida to Morzine for a 7 day ski trip and the Chalet Philibert made the journey worthwhile. Serge and his staff go the extra yard to make you feel at home. The chef made exceptional dishes each night and the presentations were on par with any 5 star restaurant. We would highly recommend......Alex and Tracy S More
