Very nice service and friendly staff. The hotel is situated about 10' away from Avignon center. Even though Le Pontet is not a nice location, the hotel is very calm and a very nice place to stay at if you need to relax for a bit. We stayed there three days and the service was really great. The hotel room...

Several reviewers have commented on the location and there is no escaping that it is pretty ordinary, being in a small, ordinary suburb some miles from Avignon (10?). However once inside the hotel it is an oasis of peace. Spa facilities are excellent, rooms a reaonable size, with mine looking out over the gardens and the food is outstanding, with...

We stayed at this lovely Auberge for one night, we chose it from a Smartbox gift and we were absolutely delighted. Right from the moment we arrived, from the Front of House staff who were professional, welcoming and warm to the presentation of our bedroom by a very personnable young man we realised we were in another world. Our bedroom...

I’m trying to think, let’s see…what is something negative about the Auberge de Cassagne? After all, a review is more believable if you don’t say everything was perfect.

This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. We liked everything about it, the room was big with plenty of storage space, the pool was area was fantastic (could have been something to do with the good weather at the time), and the food - just out of this world and the staff friendly and helpful....

We visited Avignon in July of 2011 during the theater festival., on a private family holiday put together by Footprint Holidays, Chennai. We stayed at the Auberge de Cassagne and it was an absolutely beautiful and soulful experience for all of us.
The hotel and its surrounding town made this a most surreal holiday for each of us! And it...

Frankly how they can be classified as a 4/5 star facility is beyond us.
Staff pompous
Facilities 2/3 star at best extremely tired
Location, well once you navigated the industrial estate and got passed the prison,
THIS PLACE NEEDS A TOTAL REVIEW by whatever guides recommend it

I had Mr Paterson over the phone and he said to me that maybe he intended to stay 2 nights instead of 1 night. He would know on the morning following his arrival and he said he would come back for a stay in the near future. As it is a very busy period for us we agreed to keep...

Simply couldn't fault a thing. We stayed here for 2 nights over a weekend. The staff were wonderful, so helpful and spoke great English. The garden was a pleasure for dining in, the menu and wines excellent (and the staff remembered all the small things immediately, including the type of bread rolls you liked to have and the wine lady...
