We spent a night at Domaine La Forêt in Remich. The room (a luxury one) was very nice - only 'side' comment is that the bathroom is a bit 'old' (especially the shower). Still, very nice. The room itself was very comfortable, despite being in front of the main road - thanks to good windows, we were not disturbing by the noise (of course, with the windows closed). The beds were fine; that a bit weird that the 'couette' is not a big one (in fact the king size bed is made of two twins beds). The restaurant for the dinner was great - the place was presenting well, and we took, the 6 courses dinner with wines. Every course was tasty and well presented. The staff was also very nice, with the hotel manager coming to say hello. Disappointing that the Chef wasn't coming to visit - most of the clients were staying at this hotel for the cuisine I believe. Side comment - we were invaded by small flies ... so we change table because of that. A tasty experience ! The breakfast was probably the weak part of the stay: not that much choice, and poor quality for the coffee (water coffee). The buffet looked empty when we went there, even if it was only 30 mins after its opening. So all in all, a nice place to stay for those willing to enjoy a 'simple' and 'tasty' stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed or weekend stay at Domaine La Forêt during the IM 70.3 event in June. Prior to arrival an initial booking issue was quickly resolved and our stay was very pleasant and relaxing thanks to the cleanliness, the wellness and fitness rooms and certainly the friendly and professional manner of the staff who came in at dawn on Sunday morning to ensure that the athletes who stayed at the hotel could enjoy a proper breakfast early on race day. Although Remich over the years has failed to keep ruthless development at bay, pleasant forest trails on the hotel door step offer opportunities for a nice walk or jog. Whilst circumstances prevented us from enjoying some of the packages on offer by the hotel but we weren't disappointed with the dinner on Sunday evening. It was most enjoyable, as was the bottle of Pinot Gris (Bisenius-Krier) to which we treated ourselves. The menu is a little pricey, yes, but not extraordinarily so by Luxembourg standards and we weren't disappointed.

We spent two nights while participating in the 70.3 Ironman of Luxembourg-Moselle. We were happily surprised by the hotel since the reviews were not all positive. The duplex room (upstairs) was great and very clean. We had a bed added for our daughter and it was still spacey. The spa area was incredible as it is a very small hotel : sauna, Hamam, fitness, indoor swimmingpool (28-30 degrees), relaxing area,... The restaurant was also a good surprise : very nice fine French food. The housekeepers were very nice and helpful! The only negative point: we first did not get the room we reserved (duplex), although we booked Monthey in advance and prepaid a night. Finally they arranged it for us to have it but it was a close call (we fortunately arrived early).

Large room, it even had 2 TVs. Large shower, steaming hot water. Comfortable large double bed. Restaurant on site with extremely attentive staff. The food was tasty, well prepared and nicely presented. Breakfast included, both continental and English. Not cheap but worth the money. Recommended

A good hotel with few exceptions, not the best location, with at least 5 or 6 gas stations and fast food outlets around the hotel so it does get quite noisy. Our large room was equipped with bath/Jacuzzi, spa, safe, minibar, etc. Breakfast included. Free Wi-Fi and parking on site.

I stayed in this beautiful and welcome hotel in June 2018. The rooms are clean, and comfortable. I would say it is better to stay in the first floor if you would like to have a nice balcony with a coffee table. Rooms on the 2nd floor do not have a balcony but have an inside gallery with a double bed so it might be more comfortable if you come with the family...the hotel is located 10 minutes walking / 3 minutes driving from the promenade/riverside where all bars and restaurant are located so it is in a great location. It is also comfortable if you drive your car as there is plenty of room for cars outside the hotel. The hotel offers good breakfast with a nice view over the town of Remich. Enjoy !

A great place to spend a few days unwinding on the French-speaking part of the Moselle; or just for a night on the way into or out of Europe from the Luxembourg airport. Its about 20 minutes up to the airport from Remich. The town has nice views of the river and a number of decent places to eat. Domaine La Foret is up on the hill in a commercial part of the town, so no a lot of great walking or strolling nearby, though gas and access to good highways is great. But you are just a few minutes to the downtown area. and parking in this town is plentiful. The hotel itself is a grand building with beautiful slate roof and old-world charm. Breakfast and dining rooms are sumptuou. Service at the front end was smart, helpful, and settled us into our beautifully appointed room with sitting area outside and garden with fountain. Just downstairs was a pool, saunas, steamroll, and lounging rooms--a full spa on site, and included in the cost of the room. The breakfast was one of the very best we had in two weeks of slightly upscale travel; and though we did not do the dinner here, the menu showed care, thoughtfulness, and creativity. Well worth a night or two if you want your creature comforts and don't want to be in the crowded downtown area.

Arrived a bit late due to travelling, around 9:00pm. Reception was closed, so needed to go to the bar. Barman was not too friendly, we felt like he was a little put out by our arrival. No offer of a drink or a meal, through the resturant was closed by this time. The room was very nice, though very hot, with no air con or even a fan. Good bathroom, though no coffee or tea making facilities, we had to use the mini bar to buy water. During the night there were other guests that were shouting and banging doors etc all night, from 22:00 till around 05:00 in the morning. What was a little surprising was that the hotel didn't do anything about this. We mentioned this in the morning when we checked out, they said that other guests had mentioned it. I think this is more of a one off for this place as this is located out of town in a lovely area. We were probably just unlucky. Breakfast was ok, continental, enough choice and the gentleman serving in the morning was very friendly. Parking was limited but ok. There is a McDonald's down the road if you do arrive late! And a Shell garage over the road. Overall a nice hotel in a lovely area. I would suggest arriving before 19:00. Price was ok but can not comment on the drinks or meals.
