Large comfortable rooms with great views very clean and the best service i have seen in a hotel , The staff were very helpfull in recommending restaurants and assisting with directions, Will deinitely stay again if in Auckland

Picked this place because it was not in the middle of the city. Enjoyed the free return ferry ride to the city - took 10 minutes. The walk to the marina was 5 minutes. Spacious, well appointed, clean rooms (with a great view!) The service from the staff at the Oaks was outstanding. In particular Brian and Sumit - nothing was a problem, service with a smile and very accommodating! Will definitely be back.

Perfect in every way. Location, helpful staff, well-equipped rooms, all mod cons, all the bells and whistles you need, quality, quiet, peaceful, gorgeous view, brekky included. Couldn't fault it. It's a SIX star property! Will definitely be back. There's also a free ferry across the harbour to the city. Short 5 min walk to ferry dock.

People have perhaps come to expect a minibar in their room, but this was insane: bottles of alcohol, soft drinks, even aspirins, all on a large tray on the kitchen work surface when we entered the room. As if this wasn't enough, the fridge had been invaded by cans of beer, a bottle of wine, and cans of soft drinks.... More

My recent stay at the Takapuna Oaks was excellent with first class service and very adequate accomodation. The stay combined leasure and work and the facilities catered very well for both. Highly recommend for a short break with luxurious and clean facilities. Staff very helpful. Roy M

A great stay. Apartment suited us with the room especially the bathromm which suited wheelchair access. Views were lovely and the quiteness of the area made for a relaxing stay. Views from the restaurant were stunning. Staff were polite and helpful over the week we spent there. Thought it was good value foer the money.

Easy to find in quiet location across harbour from Auckland city. Hotel provides free return tickets to cross harbour to city (journey time on water 10 mins, walk to ferry terminal from hotel 5 mins) which is a bonus plus free on site parking which often isn't available at city centre hotels.
