“I was expecting a typical German 3 star hotel, but my single room wasn't!”

My room was clean, but "ancient". There was a shower cubicle in my room... !! Forget checking in after 18 hrs... Check in off officially closes at 18:00hrs, and when I rang the door bell at 20:00hrs the owner seemed disgruntled !! Good price for the location, right in the middle of the town centre, actually in a pedestrian area but allowed to drive up to the door to unload/load up. (even though it did seem strange to drive in and out of people shopping and sitting having coffee). Parking 150 metres away in an underground multistorey paid for by the hotel... More

Hotel is just okay but beds are horrible! We had a family room (a double decker for our twins) none of us could fall asleep till late and then woke up with back pain

Our booking was made through the local tourist bureau. The room was large, light and airy and overlooked one of the main pedestrian streets. The room itself was clean, but the bathroom shower recess had clearly been neglected for some time.
