We agree, Eric, the BEST breakfast is served here! We especially loved the nightly walk down the 117 steps to the lovely village of Meersburg. If you are in shape at all, the climb home is welcome, and takes less than 10 minutes, after a delicious meal.

The astonishing view to the lake, the beauty of the house, well taste decoration and varied breakfast indicate this hotel. Wow... very friendly staff and helpful owners. Super Service!! It's a real pleasure to stay in this hotel. Also breakfast in the morning is a real sensational happening, one of the best breakfasts I have ever seen...huge variety. It's in my top 2 of best breakfasts ever!!

This hotel is incomparable in its funishings, grounds and view. The hotel is on a hill overlooking the Bodensee with sheep grazing nearby and a vineyard just below the grounds. Even in April the grounds are teeming with flowers! The towns of Meersburg and Konstanz are of postcard quaility! Please be advised that it is a very quiet, hushed venue.

The rooms are rather small the bathroom equipped with a bath with jets is taking all the place and making it inconvenient to use. The mattress is of very poor quality which is unusual for Germany.
