Charming host (who insisted on carrying bags up the stairs!) and perfect location. Although the weather took the sparkle out of the Bodensee we enjoyed our time in Meersburg. A great place to stay. The restaurant food was magnificent. Rooms were very well maintained. Only complaint was that the rooms weren't cleaned until later in the afternoon, thereby preventing an afternoon nap. But this was typical of other German towns.
