This is just what you would expect of a hotel located within the Black Forest. Very typical with all bedrooms having balconies from which you have superb views. Friendly staff with a very good buffet breakfast. The set dinner that our group was offered was fair.

No air conditioning. Rooms and pool area are very dated (pictures on website make it look nicer than it is). Stayed in the hotel for dinner and the food was pretty awful. Nice view of the valley though.

Bad Herrenalb is beautifully situated in the Black Forest and makes an excellent base from which to explore the region.
