This small and pleasant hotel, once a family home, is situated on a busy street that runs along the edge of the “Schloss,” the town’s palace. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. On a main road I initially approached with some trepidation but once round the rear the road seems to disappear. I have never stayed in a small hotel with so many gratis extras from the mini-bar to fresh fruit, coffee or tea and cold drinks on demand and a free pass to visit... More

We stayed in the Villa Benz while attending a wedding in the Castle in Schwetzingen. Schwetzingen itself is a lovely little town, dominated by the magnificent Castle grounds.
