“Nice hotel, beautifull views”

Exelent family suite with spectacular views of the city and mountains. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. Bad points: The hotels resturant only serves "helthy" foods and boring kids meals. The rooms not located in the main house seemed quite poor and not at place that i would recomend.

Let me first agreee that the Schlossberg is in an excellent location and that the restaurant serves excellent food (we were able to eat outside on the terrace). We stayed in what they call the Fursten Grotte which is the annexe housing the restaurant and which has about 6 rooms. Our room was large, light, modern and beautifully well-appointed, and... More

This hotel - which is 4* - is an older building a short walk outside the main town on a hill below the castle. Our room was not too large but was comfortable with a good bathroom and a wonderful view over the Harz mountains. The staff were courteous and helpful.
