We stayed for 2 nights in this great hotel! Very friendly and efficient stay, the hotel was maybe not the newest, but comfortable standard rooms, great breakfast, nice swimming pool and typical German dinner. Bad Sassendorf is a nice town, with Thermal bad, not far from Soest, with a very beautiful Christmas market. And also in the neighborhood the Warsteiner...

We stayed two nights at the Maritim Hotel Schnitterhof during the second wknd of January 2011. It was a €25 pppn package deal including breakfast thru HotelWeek. I seem to remember this hotel is planning to switch to a different hotel group end of 2011.
Checking in went smoothly enough as one would hope for. The hotel seemed pretty abandoned...
