I can't remember how many years we have been coming to Mother Iveys Bay. It's been a few. We visit every October. The caravans, the site, and most of all the staff are excellent, nothing is too much trouble. It's the best place to relax, everyone is friendly. Swimming, surfing, walking, fishing there's so much to do!!!!!! We have never... More

I have been visiting MIB caravan park once, sometimes twice a year since I was 3 (19 year now!!) I have grown up coming to this wonderful place and am never, ever disappointed! I have both camped and stayed in a caravan and the amenities the park provides are fantastic. I have stayed on family holidays and been with people... More

We opted for the Diamond, 4 berth caravan. Number 317. Went slightly out of season so it only cost £160 each for 3 people. We arrived slightly earlier than planned and the ladies at reception were very helpful and let us book in half hour early. The caravan itself was very spacious, clean and well presented, almost a home from... More

As you will see from our previous review we go to Mother Iveys Bay 2 to 3 times a year and have done so for many many years. It is a great site and guess what? We have taken our child with us every year (who is now 9) and we are always in the company of many children during... More

Writing this on our way home after week at the campsite. It's ok as far as campsites go but, after reading about all the evictions a few weeks ago we were terrified to make any noise. We didn't even put our TV on as the walls are so thin you can hear the TV from outside even when it's on... More

Dear Kelly H Thank you for your review and although Mother Ivey’s has clearly not suited you, other recent reviews highlight our appeal to those guests that do value peace and quiet while on holiday, including one review from a guest who witnessed first-hand the loutish behaviour that led to the recent evictions described in earlier reviews. And yes, our... More

My husband and I visited Mother Ivey's at the end of last month for the first time after being recommended by numerous friends who visit every year with their families. Our first impression was more than positive as we drove in to the park and saw the immaculate grounds and were met by the very friendly reception staff. This continued... More

After seven years of exemplary service and quality we came close to having it spoilt by the mindless, selfish attitude of a large party of people staying at MIB's(see previous wingeing reviews) kicking off at the main gate from just after midnight until 1.30 ish then football on the green and a rave in one of the caravans, needless to... Stayed here on our honeymoon for two nights, travelling around Cornwall in a 1969 VW Camper van with "Just Married" banners in the windows. The ladies on the desk were absolutely fabulous and the owner of the site came out to meet and congratulate us with a bottle of wine! The toilet & shower blocks are spotless and the private... More

We returned home yesterday after our annual Mother Ivey's holiday. We have been coming here for at least eleven years and the site and static caravans are the best that we have ever encountered. We were astonished by the recent negative reviews posted on this site but by all accounts the parties concerned were drunken riff-raff who broke virtually every... More

I write with intrepidation as any constructive criticism seems to be attacked rather aggressively. My first impressions of Mothers Ivey where not good due to the checking in staff at reception. They where very rude, threw keys over the desk at me and where very unhelpful with any questions I had....I left a little bemused ? This was soon forgotten... More

Dear ‘128JenIE’ You are the fourth linked review so far, and like the three earlier reviews from others in your party, you have chosen not to mention that I evicted members of your party staying in other caravans at Mother Ivey’s Bay Holiday Park, following unacceptable behaviour on the first night which contravened our booking conditions and disturbed other guests....
