This small six room property was a great place to stay. Would certainly stay again. Rowdy, wins "The best host award", for being so genuinely kind and gracious and immediately makes you feel welcome. He was quick to provide anything we needed and had lots of advice on all of our questions and helped make arrangements via his wide array... More

Learned of the Downwinder via word of mouth in La Ventana and our stay could not have been better! Near the end of our honeymoon, this Inn was exactly what we were looking for! I have been traveling to the area for 7 years windsurfing, Downwinder inn is a new hotel in the LaVentana/El Sargento area. It is located outside of town away from the noise and hustle.
