Warm, friendly atmosphere and you are always made welcome by the owners and locals alike. Food is excellent in presentation, quality and quantity and properly home made! Well worth trying the steak or pie nights on alternate wednesdays. I just wish we'd found it earlier!! Jon & Sue Leeds

what a little belter of a place this is, made to feel welcome from walking in the door. very warm and friendly atmosphere, clean and tidy rooms and the food was great. if your think about staying here please dont hesitate, just book it you wont be dissappointed. will definately return in the summer

Cold booking through internet but what a pleasant surprise that it was even BETTER than expected. Nothing was too much trouble to Chris and Bev (Owners). Cannot fault anything at all. Both Chris and Bev were helpful to a fault! When we couldn't eat another full English, they were only too happy to pack it for lunch for us. Enjoyed our stay there and would definitely return if we were down that way again.
