We have just enjoyed a lovely week long stay in the Alpaka Lodge in Tignes. The food was wonderful and the hotel was warm and welcoming - exactly what you want when you have had a long cold day on the slopes.

Brilliantly warm & welcoming people with an atmosphere that puts you instantly in a good mood!.. Located near lifts and restaurants/bars, but the vibe is just brilliant there's no need to venture out....everyone comes to you, from the young.... to the young at heart!

just returned from a weeks stay at the Alpaka lodge. A fantastic hotel which my husband had stayed at before and insisted we stayed at during a weeks ski-ing holiday with our two children aged 5 and 9. I have stayed in the Alpaka before when on lads trips and have turned a blind eye to one or two rough edges . . . .ageing fixtures and fitings (especially bathrooms)and a dingy bar with a filthy floor that stayed open so late as to have no regard for the guests.
