Convenient for Rochefort's historic centre and waterfront park, with cycle storage in small garage. We had a large room, with dark wood floor and furniture and reasonable bathroom. We did experience the early morning street noise mentioned by another reviewer - possibly a bus, but otherwise peaceful. Breakfast included home made jam.

Spent two nights in July 2012 - clean and quiet, and a very satisfactory 2 star hotel. Kind, helpful and accommodating front desk staff, and an excellent breakfast. The hotel is a short walk to the waterfront and the museums.

The staff was cordial and the room had been recently redone in contemporary style with a panel shower with side spray and rain head. The location is good and there is good food not far away. Parking was not too difficult except on market days. All in all we enjoyed this hotel a lot.
