This is a great place to stay. For anyone visiting Mont St-Michel, make sure you stay on the actual island and if you do, Le Mouton Blanc gives you everything you need in one location. We booked the hotel with very low expectations (after all, the hotel is reallllly old). This fabulous little hotel is located right in the ramparts of the castle/monastry. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Only issue we had was that the restaurants seemed to close once the tourist buses departed for the day. On the upside, it was great fun wandering the deserted streets and lanes when all the tourists had departed for the day. More
