I got a nice surprise while staying in Valenciennes Novotel. I always thought that hotel restaurants were poor quality. But this restaurant is up to very high starndards. The food may be a little over priced, but on business trip this is not the important thing. Very recommendable stay, although avoid rooms looking into highway. More

Don't get me wrong, I could have given it 4 stars, but given its prices and poor location (in an industrial zone), it lacks to make you feel totally convinced. I look back on this hotel as a nice stay - the only thing is the way to and from the hotel but there is'nt much to do about it. The service was good - breakfast was nice and fresh and the personel also kind and quick. More

Stayed there for one night with coach party. No air conditioning so room like oven with a at least 13 tog quilt OMG. A large beer 6.50 euros Heinekin.. When queried prices just shrugged sholders.
