Very happy with the hotel and central location. Staff were helpful and polite. Rooms clean and pleasant. The building had historical interest. Enjoyed our stay. We did not try the food or bar but it all looked good.

The earlier reviews say that the hotel is poor and put me off staying, but It has been modernised and improved. Very good rooms to the IBIS standard, helpful staff and, with the nearby resturant, everything to recommend it.

The hotel has obviously been refitted since previous reviews. Clean, tidy and now all non-smoking. Small room (on the top floor) but good bed and shower.
The location is ideal, just 5 mins walk from the Belfry, with good parking outside. Reasonable bar for an Ibis with willing staff to serve at all hours.

We had difficulty in finding the way into the car park as the whole "place" in front of the hotel was being dug up and replaced, but we got there eventually. The car park in front of the hotel doesn't really have enough spaces, but we had no problem parking. The location is very convenient for the town centre.

Not what I was expecting for an Ibis. It is in a traditional old building in the centre of town. Rooms are typical Ibis but the public rooms are all the old stonework etc.
