“nice hotel shame about the food”

we stayed there one night and everything about the stay was fine apart from the food.The room was clean eith a lovely retro 70's bathroom,the staff were really friendly and helpful,the breakfast was reasonable-if a bit pricey- but the food in the restaurant,oh dear,unbelievably bad especially for a 3-star hotel.My advice would be to stay in the hotel but eat... The best thing about this hotel is definitely the food. The breakfast is French - bread, croissants, jam, fruit, yogurt, and tea or coffee, but it is generous and all of excellent quality.
