Met Lise's mum the other day when we stayed for one night in Boulogne sur Mer. She was very charming and friendly and I think disappointed that we did not have time to stay for breakfast. She showed us up to the third floor where we had booked the Woodpecker suite but she gave us a choice of a further... More

Second time we have stopped here. Stayed for four nights in October 2012. Made very welcome by the family. Easy to park outside or nearby which is free. About a ten minute walk to the main restaurants.Very good and ample breakfast and you wont go hungry. I think the best test is will we go back for a third time... More

Stayed for one night in September 2012. Needed to stay near to Calais for an early morning crossing back to England. Touring on motorbikes and so needed secure parking for 3 bikes. We received a wonderful, warm and friendly welcome from our host. We were able to park our bikes in their integral, locked garage. A few minutes walk to... More

We were looking for a B+B rather than a hotel, partly because hotels can be quite anonymous and because we had bicycles needing secure storage for our 2 nights in Boulogne. Although the roadside exterior is functional rather than attractive, the rest of the property is lovely. We were well wecomed by Lise's mother. An excellent choice and we would... More

This was our second time in Boulogne, so we knew what to expect of the town this has been said in other reviews. This hotel has the most welcoming host She made us feel like old friends within a seconds of meeting, she has a wonderful nature and is incredibly friendly and helpful. Communicating in English to the best of... More

We had a devil of a job to find this place, and the landlady Lise had to come and find us - the house is just near the rail bridge and train station. There is a large car park a few hundred metres away but we were able to park on the pavement outside. You enter through a large hall... More

We stayed here in preference to a traditional hotel and what a great decision it turned out to be. Situated just a few minutes from both the town centre and Old Town (albeit up a steep hill), it is perfectly placed for a quiet location and exploring the city. The charming Lise is just the prefect host, making you feel... More

This is a very comfortable and friendly place. The rooms are very clean, the bed was great and the room was decorated in a somewhat bohemian and eclectic style but not overdone. It was an easy walk to the center of town and it's near the train station. Mme. is very kind and enthusiastic.

Stayed here with family of 4, good position with car parking on street, not too far from the Old City walls. Owners very helpful even though limited English spoken, no problems. Rooms nice and clean with good breakfasts, you can sit out in the pleasent garden for B`fast or like I did early evening with a glass of wine. If... More
