This hotel is set in a good, quiet location, close to skiing slopes. We were told off for arriving after 8.45pm (8.30pm latest check in). Hotel was over priced, but luckily we only needed to stay there for one night. Rooms were spacious and clean but bathrooms smelled horribly!!..............................

Having stayed at the tired, old expensive Beau Rivage for 2 night we couldnt wait to move across the rd to Hotel La Reserve. This I a nice family run hotel offering great sized rooms and a great breakfast. The only down side is they close the bar at 9pm.

A very comfortable hotel within a two minute walk from the lake. Food excellent, staff extremely welcoming and helpful and mine host very pleasant - nothing was too much trouble. When we return to Gerardmer we would not consider staying anywhere else.
