Celebrating our anniversary with a driving trip through the backwoods of France. In planning the trip we decided to make a stop in a french national park and stay in a Castle called the Chateau de la Caze. Prior planning coordination with the hotel was excellent. My emails were quickly answered and when I asked the hotel rep (turned out... More

I stayed here for 2 nights in July whilst on a driving holiday through France with my husband and 7 year-old son. The hotel is beautiful in a stunning setting. We stayed in a separate building to the main chateau, next to the swimming pool with beautiful views over the chateau and Gorges du Tarn. Whilst a stay here is... More

Very good accommodation in an enchanting spot. However, the Chateau is located 8km out of Sainte Enimie and is therefore not suited to those without a vehicle who are walking in the Gorge Du Tarn. Our room in the farm house was very nicely presented and spotlessly clean. The grounds of the chateau were beautiful. Breakfast was expensive and very... More

My friend found the chateau while searching a back roads route from Avignon. While it was a bit over our budget for accommodations, after checking their website I told him to book it. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED. It exceeded our expectations. We checked in and both couples were placed in rooms with bathrooms in the turrets. After a tour we... More

This was our second visit to this wonderfully situated chateau. The first was 37 years ago when on our first holiday together. My husband had booked one night here as a treat between two parts of our French holiday in more modest surroundings. The setting was as romantic and wonderful as I had remembered but, I suppose having stayed in... More

We stayed at the Chateau de la Caze for three nights in early September 2012. The property is amazingly located on the banks of the Tarn river, a view which can be enjoyed both from the pool and the terrace. We stayed in Guillame, a really lovely room and although the view is over the car park it's really not... More

We have stayed here before a couple of years ago and were blown away by the beauty of the surroundings and the chateau itself. We only stayed for a single night on that trip so were looking forward to another stay, even booking the same room. The chateau is still as beautiful as we remembered, unfortunately the service did not... More

We spent 3 glorious nights at this spectacular property in France, August 22-25, 2012. We had the tower suite overlooking the grounds/pool area and the river below. A stunningly beautiful place. Our rooms were so pretty and really felt like we were in a 'castle'. 'Interesting' European shower, which could be a negative aspect of the suite, but we adapted... More

This is a beautiful hotel in an old castle with a spectacular location. Well worth a visit for the location, rooms, pool, and the great food and wine. We stayed for one night and enjoyed our stay very much. The drive around the Gorges du Tarne are amazing and a stay at thi hotel is great way to end a... More

My girlfriend (now wife) and I discovered this place on a road trip around the Languedoc/Tarn Gorge. The Chateau is situated in a lovely spot near the river. The room we were given was large, comfortable with a spacious bathroom in a turret - really cool. Inside, the Chateau is nicely done with a lot of period features, outside it... More
