Yes, the hotel is old (Louis XIV was born there) and could use some updating, but it's lovely and charming. “So charming”

Love this hotel, St. Germain en Laye is the best location!! So much nicer than actual Paris too haha. The restaurant is excellent (dinner is about €50 per person for the set menu) but I would skip the €25 breakfast.

We visited the hotel in August 2009 with our two young kids aged 5 and 3. We wanted to visit the Miniatura Land in Elancourt, well worth it.
