Rooms are correct and clean for the level, but the view on Paris is the best I've never seen from the west. Breakfast and service are OK, reception very friendly. Ask before to reserve because it's a very wellknown place for weddings, and the night can be not so quiet. But the place is incredible and you feel like a... More

Regrettably there was a private party in the restaurant causing noise in the rooms on the second floor untill 3 AM. The hotel did not seem to have received the booking from easy to book so charged us again and did not sort out the issue of miscommunication between website and hotel system. Room was not clean. Good points is... More

Dear Sir, we are sorry if you are desapointed about your recent stay in our hotel. In fact, your online booking on a partner website never arrived in our system. So we had to request for payment again because we never received the payment you made online to our partner. We had to wait on Monday to call them to... More

This hotel is famous, from the birth of Louis XIV, the invention of Bearnaise sauce, Alexandre Dumas writing the 3 Musketeers many famous and influential people have slept within its walls, and with good reason. It has commanding views across Paris, (its a 20 minute RER journey from the city centre) that are truly breathtaking. The hotel was clean and... More

Oh my goodness, what a fantastic hotel. The rooms are majestic and regal, the bathroom is not shy of a 5 star hotel. The service is exceptional and location is breath taking. Unfortunately we did not eat in the restaurant as it was a wedding but the reception has recommended a fantastic sea food just minute away. The history of... More

The view on Paris is spectacular. The location (just next to the chateau) is equally superb. But the hotel is poorly run and from a services and facilities point of view a bit of a disgrace. Let me start by saying that the hotel is not cheap. Our group paid a minimum of E 199 and some paid 299 per... More

We have booked 2 nights in a suite. We expected luxury and abundance in this place where Louis the XIVth was born, but that was not the case. First the good points: The hotel is tranquil and quiet, just next to the park, and, ether suite or not, the rooms on the Est side all have a stunning view of... More

Yes, the hotel is old (Louis XIV was born there) and could use some updating, but it's lovely and charming. The restaurant is excellent and the terrace with fabulous views of the Seine and Paris couldn't be a nicer place to stop for a glass of Champagne after touring the Chateau. You're at the RER A station, so it's an... More

Love this hotel, St. Germain en Laye is the best location!! So much nicer than actual Paris too haha. The restaurant is excellent (dinner is about €50 per person for the set menu) but I would skip the €25 breakfast.

We visited the hotel in August 2009 with our two young kids aged 5 and 3. We wanted to visit the Miniatura Land in Elancourt, well worth it. Although the Pavillon Henri IV is very nicely located with a beautiful view of St Germain-en-Laye, the room was stuffy, dusty and old. The hotel website photos are not factual. The bathroom... More
