Hotel Apogia Paris, as it calls itself, is not in Paris. It is in a shabby suburb called Ivry sur Seine where the only cuisine on offer is Turkish and the bars are to seedy to step into. The hotel itself is relatively clean, but it sits between a loud road on one side and a panorama view of a... More

I actually visited Paris in February 2009, but it doesn't let you go as far back as that sadly, although the times economically were still similar as to how they are now. The hotel was a bit funny to find, but since studying French for five years previous I found it extremely helpful to get my point across as often... More

Clean bathroom and comfy beds. Some staff weren't so friendly but some were ok but English not so fluent. The food was great from the hotel's restaurant, breakfest was especially great, have to try their authentic croissants! so yummy! WiFi was expensive though! Location wise it's not too far off the city, just need to catch the right subway not... More

First impression is often the wrong one, but on this occasion it appeared to be the right one. Eventually it affected the overall impression of the city, which supposed to be the Haven on Earth. To begin with we travelled to Paris by car from Derby. Accordingly, the first criteria of choosing the hotel was the free car park. Unfortunately,... More

This is a very basic european hotel. Very very basic breakfast and mediocre meals in the restaurant. The rooms were very basic yet comfortable. Wifi is not free, you pay hourly or daily through the Orange company. This hotel is really far from public transportation, unless you sit and wait for the bus. In order to get to the metro/subway... We arrived a few hours early in the rain and the clerk did their best to take us in provide early-check in. We were greeted and escorted from the elevator to our room by the friendly multi-lingual maid. Our room had a nice river view without specifically requesting one. Overall, Hotel exceeded our expectations.

The hotel was okay. It was clean, the rooms were roomy and clean (each floor seems to have its own housekeeping) and late check out was good - but it was so far out from Paris itself. Also, at breakfast, we went down about 20 minutes before breakfast ended and they were packing things up from beneath us - the... More

Everyone thought that this hotel was in Paris.. BUT IT'S NOT! It's far away from the city center. You need to walk for 15/20 min to get to the nearest metro station. and then other 20/30 min to get to Paris. the hotel itself is normal, the beds are confortable. but nothing more. the window couldn't be closed and the... We have stayed in Apogia for one week, because according to the map it seems like it is next to the Seine River. However, the river side there is for construction shipping. Moreover, Rooms were not so clean or organized, and not confortable rest rooms. This hotel does not deserve 3 stars. It will be good if it was 2... More

We stayed at this hotel, as part of a Contiki tour to start with, then booked post tour accommodation primarily so we didn't need to move. It's a good hotel, and the included meal we had on the first night was really good - a nice piece of fish with potatoes, and an amazing chocolate torte for dessert. Breakfasts were... More
