if you are passing through Paris and you want a hotel relatively cheap you can go to Formule 1 Gennevilliers Asnieres . only problem is the hotel is kind of far from porte maillot. but otherwise ok.

We stayed there with our kids when we came to Paris for Paris Marathon. Quite a low standard for formule 1 but a really low price and free parking. 15 min walk (or short bus ride) to metro that takes you to Paris centre.

the worst ever place stayed in,although for 38 quid a night.....is too much for this place. F1 hotel which met our requirements perfectly. Excellent for low-budget trips to Paris. Very near RER line C - with ParisVISITE card you can get to Paris center in about 20 minutes. Quiet neighborhood.

The sanitary installations were in deplorable condition. The surfacing is peeling everywhere in the showers, soap dispensers were either damaged or empty and the dryers did not work, toilets were always wet with water or pee on the floor or the bowl.
