Stopped over on way down and way back from South of France. Quirky collection of rooms and decor but all immaculately clean. Service unfussy but helpful. This is a fantastic hotel. It is like a large family home with many decorations and even the family dog to give you a friendly welcome. It is reasonably close to the city centre and a short walk to the railway station. Our room was very large. Breakfast was good but not exceptional.

Easy to miss as it is set back from the road, but a nice suprise when found. Friendly welcome from staff, and boxer dog. Clean, stylish and quiet room. Well located close to the old town centre.

This is a well located (for tourist attractions) hotel. All the older parts of Chalon are within easy walking distance. Rooms are clean, bright and airy, but on the small side. I didn't have time to explore the surroondings but if you stay in Chalon this hotel is really nice, comfortable and just I've imagined the hotel in Burgundy should be.
