Stayed here for just the one night but very impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the room in particular and the hotel in general. Our room gave us a lovely view over towards Mont St. Michel in the distance. My wife raved about the fair trade white bathrobes! We ate in the seafood restaurant downstairs and... More

We stayed one night and this was our first night in France, having arrived earlier in the day on the Portsmouth to St.Malo night ferry. We got to Cancale in the early afternoon when all the seafood restaurants were heaving with people. Unfortunately we couldn't check-in until 3pm so spent some time wandering the streets instead. Cancale is the oyster... More

Location, cleanliness, size of the room, comfort all great. Except that we didn't find airconditioning which can be a pain in the summer! More

The hotel was clean and the food good, but overall the stay was disappointing. The staff were very unhelpful. The receptionist did not explain parking arrangements correctly (there were actually two options: either parallel parking and pay by parking meter, maximum stay 2hrs, necessary to feed the meter until 8pm, or drive into car park behind by barrier and pay... We really loved this hotel. Room overlooking the sea, comfortable bed, fantastic wet room/shower. Everything about it was top rate. Restaurant also good. Fruite de mer and turbot out of this world. More

This is a fine small hotel directly on the sea front in Cancale. The room facing the sea was large & airy with 2 large windows. Spotlessly clean. The breakfast was standard French (bread, jam & croissant). In the restaurant they did tend to puree all the vegetables but if you ask they can serve them au naturel. Great for... More

Le Querrien is one of very few hotels in the centre of Cancale village, directly located on the seafront. It is incredibly clean and every room has a nautical theme - for example above the headboard is a wooden paddle stretching from one side to the other and the colours are blue and white. While the decor may not be... More
