We stayed here 2 nights with my parents-in-law. We had 2 nice rooms next to each other. Double room (114) was small but nice decorated and good enough for two nights. Our shower did not work well because the shower cable was broke. We told it the reception and hope they will fix it for the next guest. The other...

Beautiful hotel with a lovely coutyard and very well located. The staff were great and changed our room when we needed a cooler room.We absolutley loved our little suite on the top floor looking on to a beautiful historical park. The hotel itself is part of the Rampart that surrounds the old town and is a beautiful site from outside as well....

This hotel is conveniently located, relatively quiet, simply appointed, and provides a good breakfast array. The bed was very comfortable. For all that, the price is very good. We were a little taken aback by the worn carpeting and, unfortunately, the intolerable bad smell at the top of our stairs. Fortunately, the smell did not permeate our room!

We stayed here on a group holiday, lovely town and a great location, easy walk into the town with a superb choice of restaurants.
Rooms are very variable, some light and quiet with lovely views of the town wall and countryside but ours overlooked a busy street with cobbles and was painted in a deep red colour that was like...

The hotel is located just within the town wall, at the edge of the town centre. Very short walk from the train station, and it's beside a COCO LM bredele shop!
We stayed in the Stork Room with one double bed, one single bed and to our surprised, a baby cot with a large Alsace stork soft toy.
The hotel...

We stayed here for 2 nights in October and found the hotel to be very conveniently located and yet charming. Yes, it has been updated on the inside but the exterior is still authentic. Our room still felt old world. Our room was small as are most European rooms but very clean. Yes, no elevator but we were use to...

The le Gouverneur is housed in an old building built into the Obernai town walls. The interior is fully renovated with quite modern furniture, though. We had an enormous room with an anteroom (I think they may have upgraded us, otherwise it was a tremendous value for what we paid!) The room was kind of noisy by day, because bus...

We returned to Le Gouverneur after a 25 year absence during a month long cycling trip retracing our honeymoon. What was once a charming albiet in-need-of-an-update hotel has now had all the charm updated right out of it, although there is still no elevator to get your bags up the stairs. The building exterior is all that remains of our...

We arrived at the hotel and asked at reception firstly for directions to their secured parking. The young man was very friendly and helpful and spoke good English. We were given a key to open the gate and felt very pleased with the parking facilities
We made our way to our room - unfortunately no lift. We were surprised at...
