When we arrived at L'Auberge Alsacienne at about noon, our room wasn't yet ready, which was fine-but when we asked if we could check our bags, the desk clerk told us we could leave them in the lobby, out in the open, in a location where the clerk couldn't keep an eye on them and anyone could see them. Clean, modern rooms with excellcent wireless everywhere. Natural woods keep the rooms from being too business-like. Friendly, English speaking help and very accomodating. Connected to their restaurant which is also very good. Also, they have parking for you car.

Stayed with the in-laws. Rooms a little dated and sparse, but OK. Restaurant good in the evenings but expensive when others within walking distance are exceptional - so a good base to stay and explore Alsace. Coming from Paris, I have stay at the auberge alsacienne, the staff i so swett, the restaurant is wonderful, the rooms are modern and very clean. A fantastic hotel in a beautiful town
