Hotel located on a paradisiacal beach: fine sand studded with gold splinters, water of an exceptional turquoise. Sardinian beaches are one more beautiful than the other, but this is a gem that will leave you speechless. Warm welcome by Dante, the owner, and his family, as well as by an efficient and kind staff. Food is very good, healthy and varied. I recommend the fish caught the same day: the sea in your mouth! Rooms are large, perfectly clean and comfortable. This kind of holiday can satisfy everyone: from children, to young people (in the village there are bars etc.) up to the not so young. Under the trees of the swimming pool you can sunbathe and relax as if there was no tomorrow!

We came here in August / September and it was OK nothing special the breakfast and evening meals were alright. We were on the ground floor on the corner but the room was so noisy and in much need of a refurb and the grounds could do with a tidy up too. We could hear the neighbours next door quite clearly. There is free parking and free beds and umbrellas at the beach which is a two minute walk away..

Rooms clean but basic and in need of some refurbishment especially bathrooms. All ground floor rooms open on to a court yard area, so this can be noisy. Although the hotel didn’t close until the end of October there was a lack of drinks at the bar and very few staff around. It was difficult to get served when Paolo the barman was busy elsewhere Reception staff, and even the life guard served behind the bar. The hotel ran out of a number of drinks. We arrived on a Sunday at about 4pm and were not able to get anything to eat, sandwich, crisps etc. at 6.30 pm we tried to get a drink but all the staff were in the restaurant having a meal we waited 30 mins to get served. The pool area and terraces were clean and tidy. The restaurant was adequate with a pre order system for your evening meal, menus were put out at breakfast to choose your evening meal. Often when the buffet selections ran out they were no replaced, so unless you were early for breakfast or dinner you missed out. You need a car or be prepared to get taxis into town if you want to eat out, Villasimius is about a 40 min walk. The hotel is located a few meters from a lovely beach with shallow water ideal for children.

The hotel is in an excellent location, close to a lovely beach, where umbrellas and sun lounges are provided to guests. The pool area is also pleasant. However, the staff are rude and unhelpful. Arriving for dinner to an empty restaurant, we were moved away from the window where we were seated and allocated "our table", behind the bain marie! We had a quick over priced "hamburger"( a patty without bun) and left. We had to leave the hotel by 8am the next morning, but discovered breakfast did not commence until that time, which is later than any other hotel we stayed at in Sardinia. Our request to eat only 15 minutes earlier at 7:45 was refused by the staff ("that is not possible"), so we left without eating. Staff at this hotel need a lesson in customer service! We will not return.

The hotel is a short three minute walk from a lovely beach where hotel guests can enjoy sun loungers and an umbrella. The rooms are clean, but simple, parking is easy, and the center of town is a short drive or bike ride away. The breakfast buffet has all you need (yogurt, fruit, cereal, eggs, meats, breads, cheese, and cake) and the staff were very kind and helpful. I would definitely return.

Ok so I give this 5* because there was just nothing wrong. Friendly people at the front desk, easy check in. Even got a handwritten welcome note. Clean room, mini bar, quiet ac, patio and large bathroom. Breakfast had more then plenty of choices and the coffee was amazing. Private beach with umbrella and they also have beverages for you. If you leave that evening there is also a dayroom you can shower up with towels and all the amenities. Bar is nice and pleasant, pool and chairs are new and clean. Loved it, would go back anytime.

By talking to the concierge I’ve learned the new basement rooms got ready two weeks prior to my arrival, so it doesn’t get any newer than that. Regardless of being crispy new, the room is spacious, well decorated, comfortable and includes a personal split A/C, a 42” TV, fridge and a couch. These rooms also have their own access to the parking lot and are quieter than the ones close to the pool (populated by noisy kids). The problem was to stay on the last one of the new room’s strip (room #30). This one is exactly under the restaurant kitchen. Boy oh boy…. The noise starts about 8:30 in the morning and stops about 11 in the evening. The worst is exactly at the end of the day, when you can clearly hear them dragging things around (probably to wash the floor before leaving for the night). The internet hub for the basement area was located inside my room, so the signal couldn’t get any better. The speed though, varies from good to impossible (depending on the hour of the day). One extremely positive of this hotel is the restaurant. The breakfast buffet has a lot of items and, while you’re having it, they handle you a menu with options to choose for dinner, a very affordable meal for 20 Euro (drinks excluded). The food is good and includes a nice appetizer (antipasto) buffet, a first and a second course. It's also worth mentioning the staff of this place. From the front desk personnel, to the pool bartender and the restaurant waiters everybody was not only nice but extremely efficient. Service is definitively a plus here. I’ll come back, not to stay at room #30 though!

I’ll start with the positives as this hotel has a lot going for it and has huge potential. Positives - The customer service was outstanding. The friendly reception & bar staff offer a 5* service. They’re happy, helpful and very friendly. Thank you for looking after us this week! - The area is stunning. The hotel is a 30 second walk from a private beach with beautiful mountain views. It’s a 5 min cycle ride from the Marina and AMAZING Beach that rivals the Caribbean! - free bike hire! We took advantage of this almost every day to explore the area - the pool area is beautiful and well kept. Negatives - The dinner menu although good value was inedible. We ate in the restaurant twice, both times very poor standard of food. It’s what has affected this score for us an unfortunately ruined the holiday a little for us. The restaurant is also very drab and dated. A little background music would create such a warm atmosphere! - lack of atmosphere in the restaurant and pool area. This could be due to being off season but we found it very unappealing to be in for long periods of time. It’s such a shame as the hotel is lovely just lacking the holiday atmosphere!

Excellent staff in general. Specificly the lady of the service in the restaurant was awesome. All others gave us a hand if needed, good advices, were extremely friendly. Breakfast buffet was outstanding for italian circumstances as well as the menu for dinner to a very favorable price. We didn't had the idea to eat outside and missed the chance to do so, as the proposed menu was too promising all the week of our stay. Saying that, a big applause to the kitchen! Great, what you were creating for us! Apart of the provided services.... Close to the beach(es). in walking distance to Villasimius town (if you like to move between the meals ;-)). Great landscape around if you decided to take a rental car (which is recommended by the way). Worth to visit: Coast up to the north to Arbatax with a lot of beaches. Cagliari to the west. Due to the actual (bad) weather conditions, we didn't take more oportunities for trips. Just to avoid being only enthusiastics. The rooms are rather noisy. You almost can listen to your neighbours conversation if you like to (we didn't).

The hotel is located very close the the beach of Campolungo, one of the best beaches we visited in the area. The staff is very nice and always helpful, big thank to them, Our room was spacious, tidy, with good sized bathroom. Breakfast had food for all tastes. Minuses: we were not able to establish a stable WiFi connection. despite suggestions and help from management. Bed were a bit squeeky. Our room did not have a TV, though I believe this was not advertised, so nothing to complaint about.
